Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

An aircraft ferrying the US defense secretary was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the jet's front window, as stated by an announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet touched down following standard protocol and everyone onboard, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson said in a online announcement.

The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This occurrence isn't the first time that a US military aircraft transporting a top government figure has suffered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a American military jet carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to head back to Washington DC after suffering a technical issue.
