On Monday, the court was told phone records and evidence recovered from phones logged Ms Wandelt repeatedly demanding Madeleine's mother for a DNA test during the past two years.

Madeleine's case in 2007 - when she was three years old during a family holiday in Portugal - is one of the most widely reported missing child cases and remains unresolved.

'I Don't Want Money'

One phone message, shared in court, documented Ms Wandelt declaring: "I know I'm fat and plain like Madeleine had been, but I believe what I know."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone stated: "Imagine there is a small chance that I'm her? What then? Isn't that significant for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I possess a living here in Poland, I simply desire to discover," the recording stated.

The jury was advised that through electronic messages, SMS messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a genetic test, forwarded early photographs to her phone in a effort to show a similarity to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and claimed to have "recollections" from a childhood with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, a data specialist with the police force who compiled the information, informed the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also contacted family friends of the McCanns, based on the phone records.

On 9 October 2024, Mr McCann picked up a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "incorrect contact information."

During that incident Ms Wandelt deposited a voicemail on Mrs McCann's answerphone saying "I will continue and I intend to demonstrate my position."

Kate and Gerry McCann testified to the court from behind a protective barrier on Wednesday

The court heard the co-defendant established a association via internet with Ms Wandelt prior to accompanying her on a appearance to the McCanns' property in that area in December 2024.

Communication data revealed Mrs Spragg had reached out through messaging service to Mrs McCann to state the news outlets had characterized Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she should be considered genuine in the period leading up to the appearance to the village, the county, in that winter.

The court was told message exchanges between the two accused, in November 2024, planning endeavoring to get Mrs McCann's genetic material from her trash or from silverware at a dining venue.

"We have to make a stand," Mrs Spragg informed Ms Wandelt.

On the occasion of the appearance to their residence, Mrs Spragg transmitted a text which said: "We're currently sat near the McCanns' home with our lights out like investigators. I wanted to achieve this with Peter Andrew I never thought I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The trial ongoing.
